Open Access Week 2023 – join our events or share your research article for a chance to win $250!
Open Access Week is held annually to inspire global momentum toward the open sharing of knowledge to address important social issues. This year's Open Access Week theme is: Community over commercialisation.
The theme encourages us to have a conversation about which approaches to open scholarship prioritise the best interests of the public and the academic community.
The University Library has organised the following activities to celebrate Open Access Week in 2023.
Community Over Commercialisation: Share & Win!
During Open Access Week, we're celebrating the collaborative spirit of open access and the vital role University of Newcastle researchers and NOVA play in creating a research community that thrives beyond commercial boundaries.
Submit your eligible accepted manuscript (Final Accepted Version) to NOVA before midnight on October 29th, 2023 for your chance to win! The first 25 submissions will win a $20 shopping voucher, and all submissions will enter a draw for two $250 shopping vouchers.
Ready to Share Your Research? Email your eligible manuscript to nova@newcastle.edu.au between October 23rd and 29th, 2023, and be a part of the open access movement.
