Nicola Ross on Child Representation
Dr Nicola Ross was a keynote speaker at the 2014 NSW Child Representation Conference organised by Legal Aid NSW.
On 15th March Dr Ross spoke to 150 children's lawyers who represent children in family law or child protection proceedings in New South Wales on the topic of "Through the eyes of Children and Young People: What do Children Need from their Lawyer?".
Nicola's presentation was based on her empirical research into children's Lawyers in child protection proceedings.

Nicola has a background in law and social work and teaches Family Law and Child Law at Newcastle Law School. She received her PhD from Sydney University in 2012.
