President of Asia Pacific medical journal association announced
Laureate Professor Nick Talley has been elected as President of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME), a non-profit organisation that aims to support and promote medical journalism in the Asia Pacific Region.
Laureate Professor Nick Talley has been elected as President of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME), a non-profit organisation that aims to support and promote medical journalism in the Asia Pacific Region. Professor Talley is a distinguished researcher and world-leading neurogastroenterologist, with a track record of significant contributions to medical publications.
APAME fosters networking, education, discussion, and exchange of information and knowledge among medical journal editors in the region and globally. The vision of APAME is to promote healthcare in the Asia Pacific Region through the dissemination of high-quality knowledge and information on medicine.
The mission of the Association is to contribute to the improvement of health in the region by ensuring the quality and dissemination of health-related information published in medical journals, which are utilised for better decision-making and effective delivery of health services.
Professor Talley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this international leadership role.
