Professor Ajayan Vinu appointed at prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai
Professor Ajayan Vinu has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India.
Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is the most esteemed Chemical Engineering university in India.
The ICT has a proud history of extremely successful alumni, including Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani, which presents a great opportunity for both Universities to expand their global networks.
Recently, the University of Newcastle has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Dual Degree Programme agreement with the ICT.
This appointment of Professor Vinu will further strengthen the research collaboration on areas including the joint supervision of PhD students and the joint research project proposals between the two institutions.
"I'm quite excited about this great honor as it is given to only distinguished professors in the areas of materials and chemical engineering," says Professor Vinu.
Professor Vinu is the Global Innovation Chair for Advanced Nanomaterials at the University of Newcastle.
