Follow-up with ThinkWell
This a special 90 minute 'top up' workshop limited to 6 participants who have been to any of the ThinkWell workshops in the last 18 months. This is a chance to review what has been working and what hasn't and to learn some more strategies. This small group coaching session will visit principles from previous workshops, but will also give participants the opportunity to discuss individual situations with Maria. (numbers limited to 6 per workshop)
Turbocharge your SSP Thursday 22nd August 9.00-12.00
This 3-hour workshop will look at a plan and strategies for achieving outcomes from SSP. Content includes how to structure time and how to be most productive with writing. It will be suitable for those who have already submitted a plan for SSP in Semester 1 2014 and those thinking about Semester 2 2014. Participants should bring along their SSP plan if they have one. This workshop is the result of a number of participants saying that they wish they had encountered ThinkWell before they did their SSP. Of course anyone actually on SSP in August and in Newcastle is also welcome to attend.
Re-start your Research Friday 23rd August 9.00-12.00
This 3-hour workshop will combine information from 'Time for Research' and 'Turbo Charge Your Writing' but scaled down to provide easy doable steps for people who have not been research active for some time. This might include those who have been on extended parental or sick leave, who have been working part-time and are now stepping back into a full-time T&R role, or who have been in teaching-focussed or governance roles and their research productivity has stalled. Depending on numbers, Maria might also be able to help them put together a plan for their first output.
