Visiting International Research Fellowships 2014
This scheme aims to enhance international collaboration with distinguished scholars whose work aligns with the Faculty’s established research strengths; and to increase the number of publications that are co-authored with international collaborators.
Up to six Visiting International Research Fellowships are available for 2014. Financial support of up to $8,000 per Fellow is available to cover airfares, ground transfers and a per diem for visits of 4-6 weeks. Fellows will be provided with an office, library, computing and Internet facilities for the period of the visit and will be invited to become a Conjoint of the Faculty.
Proposals must address the outcome of a jointly authored journal publication between the Visiting International Fellow and one or more ongoing FEDUA academic staff members. Priority will be given to international scholars with an impressive track record who can demonstrate that their work aligns with the Faculty’s established research strengths. To this end, applicants must secure the active support of one or more colleagues in the relevant research area, one of whom will stand as the academic ‘sponsor’ for the application.
