FEDUA NOTIFICATION OF INTENT
for ARC/NHMRC applications to be submitted in 2013
plus ARC LP to be submitted in 2012
Deadline: Friday 20 July 2012
This year, the Faculty’s grant development and review procedure for ARC and NHMRC will proceed differently to previous years.
To maximise the Faculty’s success and reputation in the major nationally competitive grant schemes, to ensure that high quality proposals are submitted, and to allocate resources to support this effort, the Faculty of Education and Arts has implemented a Notification of Intent (NOI) process.
Submission of the NOI is compulsory for all FEDUA applicants intending to submit an application via the University of Newcastle in early 2013 for ARC DP, DECRA, and DI schemes and NHMRC Projects and Fellowship schemes and November 2012 for ARC LP.
This does not include 2012 applicants who may resubmit unsuccessful applications currently under review.
Late submissions will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
The NOI will be complemented by preliminary discussions with a Faculty Panel so as to provide early feedback on the project aims and design, its fit with the research environment, personnel, timing, scope and scale of the draft project before investigators invest substantial time in writing.
