Medical emergencies
- dial 000 for an ambulance - internal phones require an extra 0 to get an external line before you dial 000
- contact Security Services so they can assist in directing the ambulance
to the injured person:

For First Aid and other medical assistance:
- Newcastle campus (Callaghan): The Medical Centre located on Level 1 of the Student Services Centre building can be contacted by phoning +61 2 4921 6000
- Central Coast campus (Ourimbah): a qualified nurse is available three
days a week and can be contacted through Security Services on
+61 2 4348 4222
- Other University sites: trained First Aid staff are available and their locations can be found on notice boards within buildings

We are smoke free
We have a smoke free environment policy. Smoking is prohibited in all University buildings and vehicles and rules apply to where you can smoke outdoors.
