Midnight Basketball

Midnight Basketball is a national program to help youth identify and embrace opportunities. It targets youth aged between 13 and 17 years in an eight week program of basketball games and workshops on a Saturday night at the Tamworth Sports Dome.

Allied health and medical students from the UoNDRH can volunteer to help by managing teams or presenting educational workshops aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.

How we engage:

Nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medicine students workshop participation and presentations have been conducted as well as voluntary team management and other roles for students from all other placement options.
