Waiver/Accelerator

(Available in BUSN3002 or BUSN3004, depending on semester offering)

The Waiver/Accelerator is designed for students who already have at least 140 hours of relevant industry experience and wish to have their placement hours waived while continuing to develop professionally. Instead of completing a new placement, students participate in a structured program focused on career identity, leadership capability, strategic planning, and professional confidence.

The course blends interactive face-to-face workshops (Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 7) with online learning and ongoing support from the academic lead and the University Careers team. As a capstone task, you will create a short professional video reel to showcase your skills, experiences, and career aspirations to potential employers.
