Professional Career Ready Studio

ARTS3020 allows you to meet the career-ready placements requirement by spending 140-hour across the semester working on an industry project where you respond to a client brief. Students will usually complete their work on campus as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Students are expected to take responsibility for all aspects of the project delivery and apply the skills and knowledge you have learnt within your studies in a professional context. This will include managing their own time and team as well as liaising directly with an industry partner (professional communication, responding to feedback, etc).

The course structure is designed to reflect contemporary industry practices of an agency, studio or consultancy, and will help you build confidence in managing real project challenges. There are three timetabled workshops in week 2, 3 and 12. Students are expected to complete their project work with their team independently on campus. Timetabled tutorial rooms will be available for group work.
