Quality Teaching Academy
In 2020, the TTRC launched a dedicated non-profit social enterprise that translated the Centre’s research into practice at scale across Australia and the world. The Quality Teaching Academy:
- delivers powerful professional development,
- translates research into practice,
- advocates for the teaching profession,
- supports a global community of like-minded teachers.
The Quality Teaching Academy has trained more than 5,300 teachers from 11 countries, producing high quality learning experiences for more than 900,000 students world-wide.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
