TRaCE Enterprise Academic Fellowships
The Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) Enterprise Academics Fellowships Scheme will support University of Newcastle academics to dedicate their time to pursuing collaborations with industry that focus on accelerating commercialisation outcomes in the clean energy and recycling sectors. Fellowships can be held for up to three years and will provide an opportunity for career progression and a pathway to lead applied research within these critical sectors.
The program aims to accelerate academics’ professional development by broadening their research output in critical sectors and enabling them to continue fostering enduring long-term collaborations with partners and research leadership skills.
Successful fellows will lead commercially focused projects in areas aligning with the research themes and objectives of the TRaCE initiative:
NEXT GENERATION SOLAR PV AND SYSTEMS
New projects that accelerate integration and scale of solar technologies.
ELECTRIFICATION, ENERGY SYSTEMS AND STORAGE
New projects that drive manufacturing in industry electrification, clean energy systems and storage.
SUSTAINABLE FUELS AND CHEMICALS MANUFACTURING
New projects that commercialise green fuels and chemicals.
RECYCLING, REFORMING, AND REUSE OF MATERIALS
New projects for recycling, reforming and reuse of waste materials.
