Our vision
Our vision is to be a creative, diverse and responsible world leader in materials science and engineering.
We aim to solve global issues by developing fundamental understanding, ground-breaking technologies and solutions through innovation, intelligence and collaboration with national and international academic and industry groups.

Impact:
- GICAN is proud to have three DECRA Fellows and one Future Fellow on our staff
- Since 2020, our researchers and students have published more than 90 journal articles in top international journals, seven of which had cover page features
- Our Centre has filed more than 10 patents
