Professor Alex Zelinsky, AO, is the University of Newcastle’s 8th Vice-Chancellor and President. A computer scientist, systems engineer and roboticist, his career spans innovation, research, start-ups and education, underpinning his focus on sustainable programs addressing energy transition, housing, health equity and digital transformation.

Professor Lisa Wood is Pro Vice-Chancellor for Health, Medicine and Wellbeing at the University of Newcastle. A leader in nutrition research, she focuses on improving health outcomes, particularly for respiratory conditions, while teaching and supervising PhD students, advancing global health and education.
