Orientation Graphic Design Competition
Make your mark on Uni Orientation merchandise
We are holding a competition and encouraging students to create a design to feature on 2023 Orientation merchandise. The design will be printed onto calico bags and handed out at 2023 Orientation. It will also be used to promote 2023 Orientation.
The graphic design competition is an opportunity for students to tackle a real-world opportunity.
To be eligible for the competition the entrant must be a current student. Only one entry per student is permitted. The winning submission will be chosen by a panel of executive staff.
The successful student will win two tickets to the University's Summer Ball, plus a $50 The Shop voucher. All other entrants will have the opportunity to display their design at 2023 Orientation.
Entries close on Sunday 16 October at 11:45pm.
Artwork specifications:
- Entrants must submit their own original work
- Only use the colour 100% black (CMYK), as the bags will be a single-colour screen print
- Artwork dimensions: 290mm (w) x 320mm (h)
- Feature the University of Newcastle square logo. The logo must appear at a minimum of 60mm and must not be manipulated. The logo can be accessed here.
- Artwork must be submitted as aa PDF file
