The Awards are open to all organisations that produce an annual report, including government agencies at all levels, corporate and not for profit organisations, and provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their annual report.

The award was accepted by Martene Archer, University Secretary and Director Council Services and Chancellery, who recognised the 2014 Annual Report project team for their efforts.

“The 2014 Annual Report project team involved many stakeholders right across the University and was expertly lead by Annual Report Project Manager, Micky Pinkerton.  Competing alongside some of the largest organisations in the Asia Pacific region, this award is a significant achievement that reflects UON’s ongoing commitment to good governance. A big thank you to everyone across UON who contributed,” she said.

To receive an award a report must satisfy all of the ARA criteria and be exceptional in several areas.  The criteria are based on world’s best practice in annual reporting and governance.

Producing the Annual Report marks an important milestone each calendar year detailing our performance against our Strategic Plan and, most importantly, keeping our stakeholders informed of our progress and governance standards.
