Leader in Health Education Research
Dr Michelle Stubbs has been awarded the 2025 Australian and New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators (ANZAHPE) Early Career Health Professions Education Research Award.
This distinguished accolade recognises Dr Stubbs’ significant contribution to health professional education through her research project titled “Readiness for professional practice among health professions education graduates: a systematic review.” The award was presented at the 2025 ANZAHPE Annual Conference held in Perth this July.
Dr Stubbs is a registered nurse, lecturer, and Nursing Program Convenor in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Her research encompasses digital health innovation, the integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare, and the emotional experiences of healthcare professionals. Her award-winning work reflects a strong commitment to improving graduate preparedness for professional practice and advancing educational outcomes in the health sector.
