Bachelor of Visual Communication Design Student Study Tour
University of Newcastle students and staff within the School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences dove into Singapore’s animation industry for the Singapore 2024 Visual Communication Design Study Tour.

Partnering with LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the tour gave 11 students and 2 staff the chance to dive into Singapore’s animation industry. Tour members participated in masterclasses with industry professionals, connected with fellow students and staff, and took part in cultural activities. The experience offered a unique insight into the global animation scene and expanded the students’ creative networks.
This tour was all made possible with the support from the School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences, the Global Experience Support Fund at the University of Newcastle, and the New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant.
