New Sleep Pod at the Library
As part of the many space upgrades and refurbishments to the Auchmuty Library, we are proud to introduce our Library Sleep Pod!
Currently located in Level 3 at Auchmuty, The Sleep Pod is designed to allow users to take a power nap while studying.
Functionality includes a darkening hood, adjustable seat for your comfort and nap timer to ensure you don't sleep longer than intended. The pod can also play gentle music to lull you into a relaxed state.
Relaxation facilities such as the Sleep Pod have been a popular request from clients through our Library Satisfaction Survey, run every two years.
With the help of SSAF Funding, the Pod was purchased for the Auchmuty Library in late 2021 and is now open for student usage during Library hours.
Sanitisation protocols are in place for cleaning before and after each use.
