On 19 June NI hosted an afternoon industry networking cocktail event in the Industry Development Centre.
Acting Director Alan Broadfoot and the NI team were extremely pleased with the turnout from industry, with executive representatives from twenty individual companies travelling from Newcastle, Upper Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney.
The event included 3-minute presentations by three Early-Mid Career Researchers including Dr Emma Beckett from School of Environmental and Life Sciences (Ourimbah Campus), Dr Matthew Griffith from School of Mathematics and Physical Sciences and Dr Jessica Allen from School of Engineering.
