GLAMx Lab
The GLAMX Living Histories Digitisation Lab is administered by the Special Collections section of the University Library. The facility came about through extensive collaboration between the University Library, the College of Human and Social Futures, the Wollotuka Institute and the Innovation Team in IT Services as well as engagement with the wider community via the Hunter Living Histories Initiative.

The Lab is a resource for users to gain GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) sector skills across conservation, archival science, librarianship, digitisation, metadata and data management, curatorial, and digital heritage sectors. The use of innovative technological solutions is used to expand the accessibility of archival sources.
