The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) is an external application administrator, the only UON degrees that require a UAC application are the Bachelor of Medical Science/ Doctor of Medicine (Joint Medical Program) and Bachelor of Midwifery. If you plan on applying for any degrees from another Australian University, you’ll also need to apply through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre.

The current UAC application fee is $200 and you’ll be able to select up to 5 degree preferences, please leave out any UON degrees that you have applied for in the free direct application process above.

UAR estimator

When you complete your Foundation Studies, your grades will be used to calculate a University Admission Rank (UAR), similar to but not equivalent to an ATAR. This rank is based on your average weighted mark and used to assess your admission into any UON degree that is not on the guaranteed entry list.

You will not be formally advised of your UAR, however using the tool below you can calculate an estimated ranking for the 2020 intake.

Please choose your program to continue:

  • Open Foundation

  • Newstep

  • Yapug

  • Intensive

  • Part Time

  • Online

Please note, if you completed the Intensive Open Foundation program over more than one semester, and/or did not follow the standard 2 X 20 unit course pattern, then the estimator will not work for you. Please contact the Foundation Studies Office staff, who will do a manual estimate for you.
