Waratah Choir Girls Annual Concert: Fire & Ice
A group of performers in matching red dresses stand on a stage beside music stands and microphones during a live choral performance.
"Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice." - Robert Frost
This thought-provoking line invites us to reflect on the opposing forces that shape our lives. Through music of passion and peace, intensity and stillness, sorrow and joy, Fire & Ice traces the human journey while pointing to the hope that endures through every season.
Now in its 44th year, the Waratah Girls Choir brings together singers from primary school age through to alumni, including the Junior Choir, Senior Choir (Year 7–age 30), Waratah Ensemble, and soloists. Some members have been part of the choir community for decades, creating a uniquely intergenerational musical family united by a shared love of singing.
Join us for an evening of beautiful choral music celebrating the artistry, connection, and legacy of the Waratah Girls Choir. Whether you are a long-time supporter or discovering the choir for the first time, Fire & Ice promises a moving musical experience that speaks to the heart of the human journey.
