Meet your presenter: Dr Eeshan Kulkarni
Eeshan is a tech entrepreneur-turned-venture capitalist specialising in the commercialisation of IP-backed physical sciences technologies, particularly in the fields of energy generation and storage, decarbonisation, quantum computing, sensing and communication. Eeshan completed his PhD from the National University of Singapore, during which time he started (3), scaled (2) and sold (1) deep-tech ventures based on IP developed from University research labs. After returning from Singapore, Eeshan served as a Principal (Commercialisation) at the St Baker Energy Innovation Fund, a venture capital fund focusing on early-stage energy and e-mobility companies. Eeshan is now an advisor and Angel Investor for several start-ups in Australia and Singapore.
