Startup Stories - Phoebe Breckell (Happy Skincare)

This event was held on Wednesday 2 September 2020

Phoebe Breckell

Phoebe Breckell and her husband Aaron both come from small business families and knew their own venture was the way forward for them. But with Aaron an ex-Naval Officer and Phoebe a Software Engineer, skincare wasn’t the most obvious career jump. It was Phoebe’s pregnancy that acted as the catalyst for the switch when Aaron created a 100% natural stretch mark cream to help Phoebe through her pregnancy. And with a few tweaks, this became their first product and put the two on the path to founding Happy Skin Care.

Happy Skin Care is built on keeping customers at the centre of everything, whether customers are shopping on the website or coming into their store, the team build personal touches into everything. Their product range is also customer driven. Happy Skin Care don’t just make products because of a good idea; they make products that solve someone’s problem.

Phoebe and Aaron have built the brand from their lab in Newcastle and have grown their distribution to over 250 stockists Australia-wide and their products are recommended by medical professionals. Join us for Startup Stories and learn how Phoebe and her team are innovating skin care with some of Australia’s most powerful and effective ingredients.
