Startup Stories - ByStorm Beauty

This in person event will be held on Wednesday 3 Sep 2025 to Thursday 1 Jan 1970

Discover how Storm Menzies, a University of Newcastle alumna, has founded ByStorm Beauty, creating the world’s first adaptive makeup tools that actually work for people with disabilities.

Born with mild cerebral palsy, Storm didn't realise how exclusive beauty standards were until an injury made doing her makeup nearly impossible. With true entrepreneurial determination, she taught herself 3D modeling and set out to revolutionise the industry with a mission: making beauty truly accessible for everyone.

Storm isn't just "inspired by" the disability community - she's designing WITH them, creating the world's first adaptive makeup tools that are easy to grip, easy to open, and easy to use.

Since launching in July 2025, ByStorm has sold over 1,000 products, secured a collaboration with Celeste Barber's Booie Beauty, and been featured in Marie Claire, Retail Beauty, Beauticate, and StartUp Daily.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from an innovative founder who's proving that true inclusivity isn't just good ethics - it's brilliant business, creating products that work for everyone while building a community where accessibility and beauty go hand in hand!
