Bal and his three co-founders weren’t quite sure how to tackle the global issue of mosquitoes but knew when they entered the Grand Challenge in 2019 that something had to be done. They founded the social enterprise, Borne Clothing, to create high quality, mozzie repelling clothing while donating a portion of their profits to the United Nation’s Nothing But Nets who provide mosquito nets and medication to those who couldn’t afford it otherwise.
