NSW Regional Health Partners are excited to offer the first of many training opportunities for researchers looking to work with consumers.

This workshop will be co-facilitated by our Consumer Engagement Officer Jessie Sutherland, and one of our experienced, Consumer Advisory Committee members, Brigitte Sigl.

This program has been specifically developed for researchers who want to build their understanding and skills to engage consumers in their research.

This two-hour practical workshop will cover the basics of involving consumer in research, including:

  • Who are consumers in research?
  • What is consumer involvement and why is it important?
  • How and when to involve consumers in research projects and programs?
  • Practical tips for getting started!

Our goal is for you to leave this workshop feeling confident and supported to embark on your next consumer involvement activity.

This training is suitable for all health and medical researchers working in any field from discovery to implementation!
