As part of the Research Advantage Grant Accelerator Program a series of workshops and seminars has been developed to run from May to December in 2018, providing information and practical advice about grant writing.
The seventh of these workshops – ENGAGEMENT & IMPACT– will provide an overview of the national research and innovation agenda and the growing importance of engaging and collaborating with end-users to achieve greater economic, social, environmental and cultural impact. Effective engagement and impact requires more than quality research - it requires the ability to effectively plan, collaborate and translate research into real-world impact.
This session will provide researchers with insights into:
- the growing importance of engagement and impact
- how to identify, engage and collaborate with end-users
- how to involve end-users in translating research to impact
