World-leading deep technology incubator Cicada Innovations in partnership with NSW Health and Australia's leading intellectual property firm, Davies Collison Cave, is offering a one day workshop in Newcastle for researchers, clinicians and graduates interested in protecting their intellectual property associated with their medical technology ideas or research. The Medical Device Commercialisation Training Program IP workshop is a practical workshop that teaches candidates about different types of IP, protection strategies, how to conduct IP searches and how to speak about their medical research or technology without giving away their secret sauce.
