What works? Facilitating an effective transition into higher education

Professor Liz Thomas from Edge Hill University in the UK will be presenting a lecture on: What works? Facilitating an effective transition into higher education

This lecture will draw on research evidence from the What works? Student retention and success programme (2008-12) in the UK.

It will also introduce aspects of the second phase of the programme which focusses on implementation and institutional change (2012-16) and current research on independent learning in higher education.
