RHD students needed
The Centre for the Study of Research Training and Impact (SORTI) at the University of Newcastle is calling for RHD students to join one of several focus groups and share their research experiences.
If you are in your first 18 months of candidature and willing to share your expectations and experiences of doing a research thesis, then please select which Focus Group you would like to be part of via the Eventbrite registration button below. Lunch will also be provided at each session.
SORTI is particularly interested in hearing from RHD students with a diverse pathway to university or those who have experienced challenges undertaking their research in the following areas:
- Significant caring responsibilities
- Disability
- First in Family to attend University
- English as a Second Language
Findings from the Focus Groups will help inform ways of better supporting students who are undertaking doctoral education.
