Philosophy and Ethics in Schools
Recent research has confirmed what many philosophy teachers have suspected - doing philosophy and ethics improves academic and social outcomes, particularly for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. So perhaps we ought to do more of it, but how?
Join public ethicist, and contributor in The Conversation, Dr Laura D'Olimpio, Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame (WA), and Chairperson of the Federation of Australasian Philosophy in Schools Associations for an interactive conversation about why we should, and how we can, do ethics and philosophy in schools.
A light morning tea will be provided.
