About Children's University Newcastle

Children's University Newcastle at the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education encourages children to be curious about their world.

The program recognises all the learning opportunities outside the classroom and without the constraints of curriculum.

Children are given a passport to learning and encouraged to travel with this passport to learning destinations in their local area which could include the art gallery, library, museum or university.

After completing the validated learning experience, children have this learning acknowledged with a stamp in their passport.

Once students have reached 30 hours of validated learning they are invited to attend a graduation ceremony at the University of Newcastle just like other university students.

We hope you can make it and share in the celebrations with us and our Children's University Newcastle members.
