Damien Mahoney

University of Newcastle graduate Damien Mahoney is the founder of Stackla, an AI-powered enterprise platform that manages visual content for marketers. Stackla has offices in Sydney, San Francisco and London, and serves over 450 clients globally including McDonalds, Manchester United, RedBull, Comcast, British Labor Party, Toyota, Shell, ANZ, Telstra, Qantas and Vogue. As a result of Stackla’s innovative approach to content marketing, the company was named the first and only Australian Twitter Technology Partner. Damien is also the founder of Pillar Digital, which creates digital websites, designs and applications for tier one sports brands.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) from the University of Newcastle, Damien was a sports broadcaster, calling AFL matches for Triple M and the ABC, and held senior digital positions and consulting roles with the National Rugby League, Australian Football League, ninemsn and Macquarie Radio Network.
