HPREP: Economic Evaluation

The University of Newcastle (via Research Advantage) in collaboration with Hunter New England and the Central Coast Local Health District's will deliver the Health Professionals Research Education Program (HPREP).

A series of presentations/seminars have been developed providing information and practical advice for our Clinician Researchers, Clinicians, Clinician Managers and Conjoints.

This health specific information session will be facilitated by Ms Penny Reeves, Health Research Economist, Hunter Medical Research Institute and will focus on Economic Evaluation:

  • Why including economic analyses in your evaluations of health and medical interventions will facilitate translation of your research
  • How to plan for conducting an economic evaluation and how to be an informed commissioner of economic evaluations
  • Common economic analysis tools, the different questions they address and associated data requirements

Who: Researchers, Hunter New England (HNE) and Central Coast (CC) Local Health District (LHD) Clinician Researchers, Clinicians and Managers
