Grand Connections Event Tile
Grand Connections is a new live music event series celebrating the people, stories and musical talent within the University of Newcastle community.
Inspired by ABC’s The Piano, the series will invite University of Newcastle students, staff and alumni to perform at the Local Connections piano space at Callaghan.
This competition is not simply a search for the most technically accomplished pianist. The event will celebrate musicality, creativity, connection with the audience and the personal stories behind the music people play.
Join us for the first heat and cast your vote to help decide who advances to the finals.
