Communicating Clearly with Students in Canvas

This session, facilitated by LDTI's Education Development team, focuses on using Canvas tools to set expectations and keep students on track throughout the term.
You will see examples of clearly written page and module labels, aligning weekly activities and assessments with learning outcomes, and using announcements, due dates, and the calendar to provide just in time reminders.
The session also highlights effective assignment descriptions, tools within the Gradebook for transparent and timely communication, and closing the loop on student feedback so your course site supports fewer enquiries and better engagement.
