Active Learning in the Classroom and Online
This workshop will explore the educational technology (supported at UON) used to increase student engagement in online synchronous classrooms through active learning. The use of common tools will be demonstrated, and you will be provided with resources to assist you in using this technology in your teaching practice.
This session is aimed at those who wish to use tools that support online synchronous modes of delivery (some asynchronous uses will also be highlighted).
This workshop is one of four in the ‘Active Learning’ series. We also recommend Foundations of Active Learning, Ed Tech to Support Active Learning, and Reflective Practice for Active Learning.
