The 9th Annual Best Practice Ecological Rehabilitation of Mined Lands Conference (2019) is organised by CRC CARE in conjunction with the School of Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Newcastle. CRC CARE is an independent organisation that performs research, develops technologies and provides policy guidance for assessing, cleaning up and preventing contamination of soil, water and air.

This annual conference is a significant event on the Hunter Region calendar.  It provides an important avenue to promote the use of best-practice approaches in the management of rehabilitation of mined lands.

Based on previous years’ attendance figures (approximately 40% rehab professionals, 20% academic, 20% industry and 20% government), we are anticipating approximately 300+ delegates, making it the largest mining rehabilitation conference in Australia.

This is your opportunity to engage and be engaged.

Visit the Mined Land Rehabilitation conference site for more.
