International Conference on Building Resilience
In 2015, the University of Newcastle will host the 5th Annual International Conference on Building Resilience.
The conference aims to explore the concept of resilience as a useful framework of analysis for how society can cope with the threat of natural and human induced hazards.
The conference chair, Dr Jamie Mackee, is a director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Built Environment Research (CIBER) in the School of Architecture and Built Environment.
