Festival X is the School of Creative Industries graduating student experience which will be delivered virtually in 2020 on 13-15 November.

Immerse yourself in the talent of our students as they exhibit their final work and make their mark on 2020.

Walk through the Festival X Virtual Gallery, an interactive platform that has been developed by two of our talented students, and will display over 100 #covidcreations from Visual Communication Design, Natural History Illustration and Creative Industries students. The gallery is open all weekend.

The Newbies Awards is a screening of the year’s best drama, documentaries, 10-shot films, animations, and major screen works, followed by an Awards ceremony for the most outstanding work in several categories. Tune in on Friday 13 November at 6:30pm.

Hockey Dad Collaboration: thanks to our partnership with BMG, this year’s Festival X features a preview of a new project with Aussie surf rock legends, Hockey Dad. This is the beginning of something very cool so don’t miss this music documentary, directed by film maker and lecturer, Dr Stuart McBratney. Saturday 14 November at 6:30pm.
