Future of Housing on the Central Coast

We would like to invite you to join Central Coast Greater Cities Commissioner Hon. Robyn Parker as part of our Looking Ahead speaking event. Commissioner Parker will explore the future of housing and affordability on the Central Coast and reflect on the future strategy of the Greater City Commission.

As Central Coast City Commissioner, Robyn brings extensive expertise to undertaking important work shaping Australia's first global region. Her expertise spans roles in child and family services, aged and disability services and Minister for the Environment and Heritage between 2011 and 2014.

Central Coast is expected to grow by nearly 100,000 people between 2019 and 2041. To Accommodate the growth and make the city more productive and livable, better housing will be a focus for the city. Our Q&A panel includes Alice Howe; Central Coast Council, Dr Julia Cook; University of Newcastle and Ian Lynch; Pacific Link Housing, they will delve into how they see this happening.

Parking: The theatre has three free car parks, with space for 95 vehicles. In addition, there is on-street parking in Laycock Street and in the streets surrounding the theatre. Alternatively, car parking is also available just a short stroll from the theatre in the surrounding shopping precincts.
