This year, the much-loved Summer Ball and UNSA Awards have joined forces for one incredible celebration - Step into the future and celebrate your year in style at the University of Newcastle x UNSA End of Year Student Gala!
Join us from 5pm on Friday 5 December in the stunning Great Hall at Callaghan campus to close out an amazing year celebrating 60 years of our University and the end of exams with a night of connection, recognition, and next-level style.
Dress Code: Formal – Futuristic Glam Inspired
Dress to Impress: Think metallics, sleek silhouettes, and a touch of tomorrow.
Step Into the Future with us as we celebrate in true Uni style! You bring the futuristic glam, and we’ll bring the rest - think an immersive evening of lights, reflections, metallics, and next-level energy.
Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring a sparkling canapé hour, official welcome, and live entertainment, followed by a sit-down dinner with dessert, dancing, and the all-important UNSA End-of-Year Awards Ceremony.
We will celebrate four outstanding student award winners and seven exceptional club award recipients, all while enjoying delicious food, flowing drinks, and plenty of photo-worthy moments to capture the night’s futuristic glam.

Students are welcome to purchase tickets for friends, family, and loved ones — everyone’s invited to be part of the celebrations!
Student tickets - $109 per person
Non-Student tickets - $129 per person
