Get a free, confidential and judgement-free STI (sexually transmitted infection) screening test at the University Health Service’s Callaghan Sexual Health Pop-up Clinic on Thursday 14 September from 9am-12pm.

How does the Sexual Health Pop-up Clinic work?

This month our Sexual Health Pop-up Clinic for students is being held at the University Health Service on our Callaghan Campus. Your STI screening test will consist of two appointments with one of our GPs, Dr Christina Connor. Dr Connor has a special interest in sexual health for young people and is an LGBTIQA+-friendly practitioner.

We all know that STI testing can sometimes be awkward, and Dr Connor aims to help you feel comfortable and at ease.

All students are welcome. It won’t cost you anything, but domestic students will need to bring their Medicare card if they haven’t visited the Uni Health Service before. International students will simply need to provide their overseas health insurance information.

What will happen when I book?

To make an appointment simply call the Health Service on 02 4921 6000 and ask for an appointment for the Sexual Health Clinic. The receptionist will assist in booking your appointments.

You will have two appointments at the same time on consecutive Mondays – one to get your test and the second to get your results.

If you have any questions at all just call the Health Service on 02 4921 6000 and chat to one our friendly receptionists. We won’t ask for your name until you feel ready to make an appointment.

Sexual health services at Ourimbah campus

Ourimbah students can access sti testing and other sexual health services during clinic hours (Mon-Fri 9-5) at the Ourimbah Campus Health Service.

And keep your eye out for the Health Service staff who are having an STI Awareness Day on 14 September alongside the UNSA BBQ. The friendly team will have info about booking your STI screen on campus.
