In celebration of National Reconciliation Week – The University of Newcastle, Australia and the Wollotuka Institute brings you the 2022 Rising from the Embers Festival, proudly sponsored by Local Land Services NSW - Hunter.
Join us Friday 27th May at Park on the Hill from 1pm for the opportunity to engage with our passionate university society and faculty groups, local organisations, and government entity groups to discuss land and water management – best practice and the ongoing environmental impacts in the Hunter region.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
