🥾 Glenrock Bush Walk Adventure! 🌿
Ready to escape the campus and hit the trails? Join the NUmates team for a day of sunshine, stunning views, and good vibes as we explore the beautiful bushland of Glenrock and hike our way down to Merewether Beach! 🌊✨ Once at Merewether, we will enjoy a traditional Aussie Fish & Chips or Burger lunch from followed by an epic ice-cream cone from Larries Takeaway & enjoy a restful afternoon by the ocean! Return transport from Callaghan campus is included as part of this event.
📍 Meeting Point: The House, Callaghan Campus
🚌 Transport: The bus will leave Callaghan Campus promptly at 10.00 AM, with an optional return from Merewether at 2 PM.
Want to soak up some extra beach time? 🏖️ Stay as long as you like and make your own way back!
💰 Price: $20: includes guided bushwalk + return coach transport + lunch + ice cream 🍦😋
What to expect:
🌳 A scenic 1.5-hour hike from Glenrock to Merewether
☀️ Plenty of sunshine and great company
🥾 A few stairs and semi-steep inclines (nothing our NUmates can’t handle!)
♿ This event covers natural terrain, rock steps and sand and is unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchair users
Don’t forget: Bring sunscreen, a hat, water, and good walking shoes 👟
