Mental Health First Aid Training for students

This one day, practical, evidence-based Mental Health First Aid course is for University of Newcastle students to learn how to recognise the signs of common mental health problems, start supportive conversations, and provide help until professional support is available.
On completion, you'll become a Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders)- a great qualification to add to your CV. Empower yourself to make a meaningful difference when it matters most.
What it involves: 6-7 hours of e-learning modules and a one day in person workshop
Facilitators: Training is facilitated by experienced clinicians from the University Counselling and AccessAbility teams.
Cost: $36 (non-refundable)
