Mental Health First Aid Training for Students

This two day, practical, evidence‑based Mental Health First Aid course is for UON students to learn how to recognise the signs of common mental health problems, start supportive conversations, and provide help until professional support is available.
On completion, you'll become a Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders)- a great qualification to add to your CV. Empower yourself to make a meaningful difference when it matters most.
Facilitators: Training is facilitated by experienced clinicians from the University Counselling and AccessAbility teams.
When: 9am - 3pm Tuesday 14th July and Wednesday 15th July 2026 (participants must attend for all of both days)
